I travel a lot and tend to prefer traditional places. Atholbank Guest House was just right for a quiet, cosy stay, with very kind and friendly hospitality and professional B&B service. It's in the heart of Dundee, 8 minutes from the Airport and 5 minutes from the train station. If you're on a budget, I highly recommend staying here. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. We wanted a local guest house experience instead of a chain hotel, and really enjoyed staying here. Our hosts were caring and did their best to make us comfortable, checking at breakfast if we'd like more to drink or another piece of toast. They also topped up the coffee and tea in our room every day. This place deserves to be better known. If we're back in Dundee, we'll definitely stay here again!

The welcome made the biggest impression on me as a solo traveller. It was so personal and warm. The room was lovely too, and breakfast was tailored to me. Great place!

We found the hosts friendly and helpful, and slept really well in the comfortable beds. There was plenty of parking, and a wonderful Italian restaurant just up the road. The Discovery Exhibition was an interesting 30-minute walk along the river, with fabulous bridge views. The location worked perfectly for our Dundee visit. We’ll be back, and definitely recommend it!

The dining room fridge was especially useful when I stayed for a few days, and there’s a good setup for guests who want to heat their own meals. I’ve stayed here a couple of times and found the rooms comfortable each time. Breakfast was excellent, and as someone with Coeliac disease I was safely catered for with gluten-free breakfast each morning. Thank you.
