We stayed the night before our holiday, and Julia made it feel like home. She was such a friendly, fantastic host, and even took us to the airport. Breakfast was great and set us up well for a day of travelling. It's a lovely little retreat just outside East Grinstead, in Dormansland, and very close to Gatwick Airport. We'll definitely stay again before our next holiday.

Julia was lovely and made us feel at home, and parking was easy. We spent a weekend in the cosy garden cabin, which has its own shower, and had a lovely evening there. The garden is open and peaceful, with birdsong from the wooded area. The house is just a stone's throw from East Grinstead. We took the Bluebell Railway to Sheffield Park and back. A hidden gem, highly recommended, and we'll visit again.

The house and gardens have a lovely quirky character, and breakfast was amazing. Julia was friendly and so helpful, with great attention to detail in the rooms. I'd have no hesitation recommending South Lodge House.

Breakfast was a lovely start to the day, especially the poached eggs on toast with bacon. The location worked well too, less than 30 minutes from Gatwick Apt. Julia was a very attentive, hospitable host and did everything she could to help during my stay. I'd recommend the place.

I love it here so much I'd move in tomorrow if only my clients could all move nearby lol. Julie was wonderful, attentive and helpful, and did her best to look after everyone's needs. The room, garden and breakfast were all put together with care. I'd really recommend South Lodge House for unwinding, relaxing and healing ❤️
