Yvonne and her team worked so hard to make Mum's 90th birthday party special, and we really appreciated it. They decorated the tables and chairs to match our colour scheme and set up extra tables for the drinks, cake, photo slideshow screen and presents. The meal was lovely, with a carvery of lamb, gammon and turkey, plenty of vegetables and all the trimmings, followed by lots of tasty desserts. Yvonne welcomed everyone and served drinks, then did the same during the meal. We also had another drink for the speech and toast, and tea and coffee afterwards. The food was amazing and the service was wonderful. All the hotel staff were friendly, professional and helpful. We're so glad we booked the party at this lovely hotel. Thank you all for making the day a success. X

The decor is a bit dated, though the hotel was very clean. The staff were really friendly and breakfast was amazing. It's right on the seafront. Had a great stay over the May bank holiday and will definitely come again. Thank you!

The food was delicious, and the older guests staying there were all so kind and welcoming. The manager and staff were wonderful and friendly too. I absolutely loved my stay and would really like to come back one day with my family and friends. Thank you so much ❤️

We booked at short notice and came with my daughter for afternoon tea. It was delicious and superb value, with a proper big pot of tea and hot chocolate for her. Everyone on staff was so friendly and made us feel welcome. Recommended!

We had a great time during our five-day break, and the staff were pleasant and helpful, especially the bar staff. The hotel is in a great spot, close to the main town and a short walk from the pier. Our room was clean and had a large walk-in shower. I gave three stars because the food didn't meet my expectations. I ordered the soup twice, and both times it was bland with no taste, so I had to add salt. The ice cream selection was also a problem. It was covered in ice, stuck solid to the bowl, and the bowl itself was so cold to touch. It was supposed to be soft scoop. I asked the waiter to take it back, which he did, and asked why it was served that way. He said the chef prepares it hours in advance. Not good.
