The breakfasts were generous and really tasty, and the hosts are wonderful. The accommodation was spotlessly clean too. No.26 bus route stops right there, with restaurants and the water front an easy walk away. It's also an easy bus ride into town. Highly recommended if you're staying in Edinburgh for a night or a few.

We stayed two days with our two children while touring Scotland, and this B&B is well worth recommending. Lynne and Rob were warm, lovely hosts who were always helpful. The breakfast was wonderful, and their excursion tips were very useful. We had a great time.

At Another room, Lynne made us feel very welcome and was a lovely host. Nearby bus stops made it easy to get to the tourist spots. Portobello beach is close by and has good food options. We had a great time.

We explored the whole city on foot, and this was an excellent place to stay for that. Lynn and Robert took wonderful care of their guests. They shared lots of stories and useful tips, including a walk to the relaxed Portobello beach strip, about 15 minutes away, and the Mary Kings Close tour, which showed the fascinating growth of the city in the 18th century. Lynn also makes homemade scones and shared her recipe. We even had Whiskey (Jura) at breakfast. :-) One thing to keep in mind: on the long days in June, especially with excellent weather, the rooms don't get very dark.

A real highlight of my Edinburgh trip last year. The host was friendly and welcoming, and I loved chatting with her. She made huge, delicious breakfasts and looked after my daughter and me like we were family.
