A really comfortable, clean apartment that felt homely and good value. It was quiet, with the centre easy to reach by bus. The botanic garden is nearby, there’s plenty of good food around, and a big Tesco just around the corner. I’d absolutely recommend it.

There’s a bus stop just down the street, and M&S, Lidl, and Tesco are all nearby, which made it easy to get around. The apartment has recently been renovated. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well equipped, and the service was very friendly. A good base for seeing the city, and I recommend it.

The room wasn’t ready when I arrived at Edinburgh’s Aparthotel in Canonmills in Sept 2025, so they sent me away while they cleaned up after the previous guest. Once I got in, it was as advertised: clean and comfortable, with an easy walk to the town centre, a bus stop, and Tesco. The staff were pleasant. I’d have given it five stars if I hadn’t left with bedbugs. Getting rid of them cost me $800 with a pestcontrol company.

The apartment was a lovely surprise, especially since I booked at short notice. I got a warm welcome, and though I walked from waverly station, you can take a bus. There are local shops, bars, and restaurants nearby, and the Botanical gardens are within walking distance. Inside, I loved the bright, comfortable bedroom, decent-sized shower, kitchen with a washing machine and cooking facilities, and a large living room. It had everything I needed and felt like a bit of a luxury.

The staff were really helpful, even providing a place to store our luggage after checkout. Tesco is nearby, and the bus stop right outside makes getting around the city easy. The apartment was very clean and had everything I needed. One of the best apartments I’ve stayed in, and I’ll definitely return.
