The rooms are spacious, complete, modern and perfectly clean. They don’t include breakfast, and check-in is self-service, so there wasn’t much service to rate. The location is roughly halfway between the airport and the city, right by a bus stop, with about a 30-minute ride to the centre. There isn’t much to do or eat nearby.

We needed somewhere at short notice, and this turned out to be a great find for our family of five. The room was roomy, modern and very clean, and breakfast was a fantastic Scottish one. Getting around was easy with buses right outside, and we felt fine leaving the car parked there. Nothing seemed too much trouble. We’d happily recommend it if you need a B&B.

Michelle was so understanding when we had to move our dates three times because of Covid. The bungalow was in pristine shape, and the woman running it was friendly and professional. Breakfast had a good choice, the bed was comfortable, and the bus stop outside goes right into central Edinburgh. It’s on a busy road, but we couldn’t hear traffic in the room. We’d definitely come back.

After a long day cycling the John Muir Way, we got a much-needed good night’s sleep here. The room was warm, clean and really comfortable, with places to eat conveniently nearby. The owners were lovely and helpful, and even found us a secure spot for our bikes. Would recommend it.
