The owner was friendly and helpful, and the bus stop just around the corner has several routes into the city centre. I slept late, so I didn’t get to try breakfast. The room had a kettle, tea, coffee and towels. There was toothpaste and shower gel for guests in the shared bathroom. A good choice if you want a B&B.

It took me a little while to settle into the B&B, but I was happy with it by the end. The rooms are small and comfort is basic, though it was clean and had what I needed. The price is high, but that’s Edinburgh for you, and by local standards it isn’t expensive. There’s a bus stop right out front, about 15 minutes to the city centre. Breakfast was good, and the hostess was absolutely lovely. I’d stay again if I return.

We were very upset that the breakfast we’d paid for wasn’t provided, especially since finding breakfast on January 1st wasn’t easy. Also, this place isn’t suitable if you’re claustrophobic: the rooms are very small, and the bathroom is shared with five or six other guests.

Cosy and really nice. Sue was kind and gave us tips for visiting Edinburgh. I had a very good experience and would recommend this B&B.

The owner was lovely and made us feel welcome. Our room was spotless, breakfast was really nice with a good range to choose from, and it’s fairly close to the city centre.
