We had a pleasant stay, though the Wi-Fi didn't work while we were there, which would have made this a five-star visit. The place is easy to reach and close to the city centre, with a bus stop right outside the gate. Our room was spotless and had the basics. Breakfast was decent, just nothing special for budget accommodation.

The bus stop is right outside, and breakfast was tasty with good-sized portions and the usual classic options. Our room was comfortable once I managed to warm it up, but a big draft came through the window and the cold weather made that uncomfortable. The stay was okay overall.

The bus stop is right at the doorstep, which made getting around easy, and they served a Scottish breakfast. We stayed two nights. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the basic facilities we needed.

The rooms were really cozy, and getting into the city by bus took about 20 minutes. A good choice for a quick stay in Edinburgh.

Jim, the owner, was really friendly and happy to accommodate my request. The room was clean, the bed super comfy, and breakfast was yummy. There’s also a sweet, friendly dog who greets you each time. The house is in a quiet part of town, with distant views of Carlton hill and Edinburgh castle. Several bus stops are nearby, including one right outside, with buses running into town. I’d definitely recommend staying here and would come back when I’m in Edinburgh again.
