Our arrival was badly delayed, but we kept the team updated by text and they arranged for someone to meet us with the keys. When we finally got there, a lovely young man named Matthew greeted us at the door and showed us around. He also recommended a fantastic place to eat, so he's made friends for life. The apartment was impressive, stylish and fitted out to a high standard, with plenty of plug sockets, which always matters when travelling. The bedrooms were spacious, the beds and bedding comfortable, and there was lots of storage. In the bathroom, the huge bath could comfortably fit two, and there was a rain shower with a separate head that worked well for washing hair. Towels were soft and plentiful, and quality liquid soap and hand lotion were provided. The enormous living room had a fantastic coal-effect gas fire that took the chill out of December nights. The kitchen was superbly equipped with top-notch appliances, plus a welcoming bottle of milk and jars of tea, coffee and sugar. It was clean, warm and easy to live in. The folder of appliance instructions looked daunting, but everything was quite easy to figure out. Though it was a basement apartment, it had an outdoor area that's useful in summer and didn't feel dark or gloomy. Princes St was just a 10-15 minute walk away. We really enjoyed the stay and would recommend Reserve Apartments based on our experience. It wasn't a budget option, but over New Year it worked out cheaper than many hotels, and was a pleasure to come back to each day.

Edinburgh was a fantastic city to explore, and we’ll definitely come back. The apartment made the visit easy: it’s across from the station, buses and trams, though we mostly walked since the castle and other sights were only about fifteen minutes away. There are nice cafés right outside for breakfast, plus nearby supermarkets if you’d rather eat in. David met us at the door with the keys and all the information we needed. The rooms were clean, bright and spacious, and the place had everything we needed to relax at the end of the day. Thanks to Reserve Apartment's for a wonderful stay. We’d happily recommend it. The views from the Waterfront View Residence were amazing, and we had no complaints about our four-day weekend. The apartment was easy to find and even better than the description. Everything worked properly, and the central heating kept us warm during a very cold weekend. We always found somewhere to park. The bus stop for Edinburgh is a five-minute walk away, while a 24-hour Asda is a two-minute drive or ten-minute walk. It’s about ten minutes by car or twenty minutes by bus into the city centre. We’d stay here again without hesitation.
We were very happy at the Leamington Rd apartment and plan to book it again when we return to Edinburgh. The bathroom was superb, the bed was really comfortable, and the spotless kitchen had everything we needed to cook at home, which was especially nice after several weeks away. The location and facilities were both perfect for us. Just bear in mind that there are steps, so it may not suit anyone who has trouble with them. Thank you so much.
We spent nine days at McDonald Residence/2 Buchanan Court, and the shared balcony had a lovely view of the lush greenery across the road. The apartment is beautifully decorated, with three comfortable bedrooms, a large lounge and a well-equipped kitchen. Being on the first floor was handy. It’s just below Calton Hill, with a short walk to the Royal Mile, Old Town and the shops on Princes Street. Reserve Apartments were helpful and accommodating, and I highly recommend both them and McDonald Residence.
