The location was great and the two-night stay itself was pleasant. Still, I'm really questioning how lost property is handled. I accidentally left my leather bracelet in the bathroom, but it wasn't recovered. Reception said no new guests had been in the room after checkout and that only staff had access during those hours, yet I was told it hadn't been found.

The rooms were decent, and the service was nice. It's a good spot for getting around the city, with the main sightseeing places nearby. Nice atmosphere, and I'd recommend it if you want to stay close to the top spots.

I was exhausted and booked a twin room for around £100, hoping for somewhere clean and safe, but I couldn't stay there. The carpet, sink, toilet, bed, really everything in the room was extremely dirty. When I asked for help, reception said nothing could be done because the housekeeper had already left. I was most concerned that the receptionist wrote down all my bank card details, including the CVV code. That's not allowed and is a serious security issue. I hope this helps other travelers know what to expect before booking.

We booked two nights with breakfast and were pleased when we arrived, but the stay went downhill quickly. The shower had two settings, ice cold or lava. We also found dirty women's underwear beside the bed. When we returned it to reception in the morning, they brushed us off and said they'd pass it on to housekeeping. Someone didn't take responsibility until later that night, even though the room hadn't been cleaned properly before we arrived. We'd asked for early check-in and were refused because it still needed cleaning. Breakfast was described as continental, but at 8:45 all that was available was toast and cereal. The gentleman working when we left barely spoke to us. After the underwear incident, the way it was handled made the whole experience feel unwelcoming.
