Having reception staff on site was reassuring, and the building felt safe and mostly quiet. It also felt homely and lived in, which I appreciated. It’s an older Edinburgh student accommodation, with some character and a warm atmosphere. While I was studying there, Haddington Place made a good base. The location is very central, with shops, cafés, public transport and the city centre all within walking distance, so getting around was easy. A comfortable, welcoming place for student life.

The rooms are comfortable and newly renovated, and the transport links are so convenient. McDonald tram stop is right opposite, Shrubhill bus stop is nearby, and there are plenty of buses connecting you to the rest of Edinburgh. Such a great place for students, I’d absolutely recommend it!

The people here have made a real difference. Staff are lovely, friendly and always helpful, and you get the sense they care about the students. I’ve made lots of friends I’ll cherish for life. I love living here. The room has enough space, the community areas are nicely done, and it’s in a great location with a bus and tram stop close by.

Eight months living here and I’ve loved it. The staff are friendly and always ready to help, and the location makes it easy to get to the city and university. I’d highly recommend it. P.S. If the cute Indian guy who’s always at reception sees this, I’d love his number.

Good facilities, a nice location and friendly staff. I’m glad I chose to live here, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a residence. P.S. That Johann boy at reception is very handsome. I’ve got a little crush on him. Hope he sees this, xo xo.
