Everyone was so warm and friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. The rooms were clean and lovely too. Getting around was convenient, whether we were heading from the airport, into the city centre or further out from Edinburgh. If I visit again, I’m definitely staying here. Do yourself a favour and book it!

The breakfast was excellent, but I wouldn’t choose to stay here again. We were on the second floor of an old hotel with lots of narrow stairs, so getting around was a bit inconvenient. The floors were noisy too, which seemed related to the building’s age. The location wasn’t especially convenient for tourists.

It felt like home from the warm welcome onward, and the location was perfect. This place has heart and soul, which is what made me fall for it, rather than luxury or an especially good breakfast. It’s one of the few hotels I know I’ll return to. Thanks for such lovely moments!

It’s in a nice spot near Arthurs seat and the city centre, but away from the loudest touristy area. The breakfast’s tasty and you can order from a menu. The staff are really cute.

Kevin was especially friendly and the service was great. We had a lovely two-night stay, with a cozy room and bed. The Eggs Benedict at breakfast were delicious.
