The location is handy, close to Haymarket station, the tram, and plenty of bus stops. We asked for an early check-in and they managed to arrange it. Our room was in the basement, reached by stairs, and I don't think there was a lift. It was cozy and warm. The shared spaces were lovely, with a TV and board games, plus a coffee machine guests could use for free. I had a great stay and would definitely come back.

The room felt cozy, almost like being at home, and had a lovely look to it, with dim lighting and an elegant feel. But the bathroom was a complete letdown. It was so cramped it was hard to even stand in there, which doesn't make sense for a deluxe room.

The location was convenient, and the room was really clean and tidy. It even smelled lovely. The shared areas were just as clean and cozy. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

I'd avoid this hotel. There's no cleaning during a stay unless it's longer than seven days, and then they clean only in the middle. The toilet smelled awful, and water pipes made noise all night. There was also nowhere to leave luggage after check-out, since no staff were at the hotel.

We stayed in the Family Room with four people from the 4th to the 7th, and had a very pleasant time at JOIVY Haymarket. The shared area was welcoming, and the free coffee machine was a nice extra. I was especially glad to see our bathroom had been newly renovated, which put to rest the concerns I'd seen in earlier reviews. We'd recommend it.
