Having two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen with a washer and dryer gave us lots of room, and made it feel a bit like living in Edinburgh. The apartment was clean, lovely and handy for the historic sights. There were grocery shops nearby, along with bars, cafes and restaurants. The office also kept our luggage until check-in time.
Very comfortable apartment, and the service was fantastic. On our first night there was no hot water or heating. I called the maintenance number, and they arrived within an hour and a half and fixed it straight away. I'd definitely recommend it.
There's loads of space here, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a very comfortable living room. The kitchen has everything you'd need, including a washing machine and dishwasher. It was clean, modern and in a super location. Highly recommend.
The location was perfect, with everything within walking distance, and the washing machine was a definite plus. The flat itself was pleasant, but could use some TLC. Several lights didn't work, the TV kept having signal problems and we eventually gave up on it. Every shower left a big puddle on the floor because the bottom of the shower seal was cut off. The fridge froze most of our food even though the temperature was set correctly. The kitchen utensils were very basic, and it would've been nice to have a few more, plus matching cups and glasses. We called the office on arrival day to ask about checking in early. We got there an hour ahead of time and called again to see if the flat was ready. They said it wasn't, though it actually was ready the whole time. It's not a major issue, but an early check-in would've been nice. The outside entrance could also use clearer signage.
The location was great, but we found out only when we arrived that the ground-floor flat we'd booked wasn't available. They offered a refund, but that wasn't really workable when I was already outside with our luggage and two kids. We ended up on the third floor, with no lift, which was a workout with young children. The flat was split across levels, so it wasn't easy with our four- and five-year-olds when one of us needed to nip downstairs to the loo or fetch something. The layout and balconies seem better suited to adults.
