The service was excellent, with staff who were friendly and attentive. Everything was clean and tidy, and the surroundings were quiet. Breakfast wasn't a big spread, but what they served was very good. Since I can't have milk or gluten, they even provided special bread and yogurt. The room wasn't especially spacious, though it was enough for us because we were out during the day. I preferred this guesthouse to the hotel in Glasgow, and the location was good too.

The rooms are clean, but the furniture feels outdated and the bedding is poor quality. Reception was appalling, and the owner was completely unhelpful and frankly unpleasant. Avoid this place at all costs.
