Lauriston Central Skylight Roomz

The staff were super friendly, and there was always someone around. We went to the wrong entrance at first, but they buzzed us in and we found reception quickly. The bed was really comfortable, the water pressure was excellent, and there were plenty of TV channels. The rooms feel a little dated, though the hotel is handy for getting to different parts of the city. We skipped breakfast so we could try local cafes, but the hotel price seemed comparable. If we're back in Edinburg, this will be high on our list.

Just a few minutes on foot from the Royal Mile and other sights, and the staff were friendly throughout. Breakfast had enough for a proper meal, with both hot and cold choices, and the breakfast team were especially kind to us. The building is clean and lovely, with a lot of history. It's older, of course, but that's part of its charm. We had a great stay. Thanks for the service.

The location was fab, and the room stayed pleasantly cool, unlike nearly every other city hotel I've visited. The bed was comfy too. I only wish the window opened. I'll book Leonardo again, and plan to stay at the Bristol Leonardo later in Marc.

The place was filthy. There were stains on the carpet, it wasn't vacuumed, and the toilet paper wasn't replaced. The afternoon reception staff were rude. My friend had broken her arm, so I asked for clean towels. They said they'd replace them if we left them on the floor, and the sheets did get changed. There was no ice in the hotel for 4 days, and perishable food was left out without refrigeration. Stay at your own risk.
