For my wife's 60th birthday, I booked us a superior room with a view at this lovely hotel, right in the heart of The Royal Mile. Looking out over Princes Street was fantastic. The room had everything we needed and more, with a comfy bed and plenty of toiletries. When we asked reception for extra pillows, room service brought them up within 10 minutes. Reception also adjusted the room temperature to what we requested. The staff were friendly and we had a lovely stay. We skipped breakfast because there are plenty of other places along The Royal Mile, though I'm sure the hotel breakfast would have been delicious. We plan to return to the same hotel for a longer stay next year. Thanks for a wonderful experience 😊

We managed to charge our car for free in the hotel's type 2 parking spot, which was great, though it was full when we arrived and another spot would be useful. The men's changing room in the spa smelled awful on both days we went, and could do with a clean or an air freshener. Apart from those two things, this is a lovely hotel and we'd definitely stay again. We were here yesterday with the kids in adjoining rooms, both clean and to a really nice standard. It's in a great spot on the royal mile with lots of food nearby, and the front of house staff were welcoming and accommodating. There are two electric car spaces onsite, one Tesla and one type 2.

Nearly everywhere we wanted to visit was just a 5-10 minute walk away, and the service was excellent. Our room was clean and breakfast pretty good. We did have to jiggle the card in its slot to get the lights on, but the location and services made up for it. Five stars.

Zoe's hospitality really made our stay at the Radisson Blu Edinburgh. She was warm, kind and attentive, flexible with our travel arrangements, and gave us spot on local suggestions for exploring the city. That made the trip much easier, and her genuine care and professionalism are a real asset to the hotel. The hotel was comfortable and excellent, with a super location. We had a fantastic stay and highly recommend it.

The Wi-Fi was poor, with a weak signal and frequent dropouts that made working or even browsing difficult. The room was also hard to cool: the thermostat was set to 18°C and showed the fan running at high speed, but the air conditioning didn't bring the temperature down. I reported it several times and was told each time that the system was working normally and nothing more could be done. They gave me a very small portable fan instead, which wasn't acceptable for a hotel of this standard. The window was locked and only opened about 15%, so there was no proper way to get fresh air. Between the temperature, limited ventilation, unreliable Wi-Fi and unhelpful response, my stay at the Radisson Blu Edinburgh was frustrating. I expected much better and wouldn't stay here again or recommend it based on my experience.
