Rosehall Hotel

The room was cosy and very clean, and Jennifer was such a kind, lovely host. My friend and I had a great four-day stay. The bus stop is right opposite, so the hotel is very close to the city centre by bus. I’d pick this place again if I return to Edinburgh.

Rosehall Hotel has a lovely Regency-era feel, and our room was gorgeous and cosy. The staff let us leave our luggage both before check-in and after check-out, which was helpful. Buses run from stops two minutes away in either direction, and the area is well connected to the city centre. We’d happily stay again.

We stayed in Room number 5 as a family, and it was a great fit. The room was comfortable, clean and thoughtfully decorated, with a cosy feel. The staff were incredibly friendly and did a lot to make our visit enjoyable. There’s a bus stop directly across the street, and the location also puts attractions within walking distance. My family and I had a wonderful stay at Rosehall Hotel and would recommend it to anyone visiting Edinburgh. We look forward to coming back.

The inside of Rosehall Hotel was peaceful despite the busy surroundings on Dalkeith Road, and we could relax easily. Its old-fashioned character made my wife and me feel like we’d stepped back in time. The building is close to attractions and convenient amenities, and the staff were warm and keen to help. They shared plenty of Edinburgh information that made planning our days straightforward. Breakfast is self-service in a charming, classical-looking restaurant. There was a good range of hot food, including bacon, sausages, eggs and toast, along with cereals, yogurt and fruit salad. The coffee and tea selection was satisfying too, and the food quality was commendable. We came away with wonderful memories and give it five stars without hesitation. I’d recommend it if you’re visiting Edinburgh.
