The views over the city were great when I visited on a sunny, blue-sky day. It’s a short walk up Lady Hill, and there’s a bench, an old castle ruin, a monument and information boards about the area.

There isn’t much history to read about, and the walk is short, but it’s still worth a look on a nice day. At the top you get a decent view over Elgin’s main town, alongside the remains of the castle and the historical monument. The tower lights up in the evening too.
The climb is steep, but the views over Elgin from the monument are stunning all around. Worth the walk up.
It’s an easy walk to the top and a nice little ten-minute outing, with good views from the hill. Just a caution, there was a lot of broken glass and discarded condoms in the grass, so it looked like somewhere teens might hang out after dark.
The site gives you a great view of the town and a look at Elgin’s history. It’s a shame the Duke’s castle is completely destroyed. I really wish more of it had been preserved.
