Abocurragh Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast

We only managed one night at this lovely place and wished we could have stayed longer. The setting was beautiful: sunshine, a light dusting of snow on the mountains, and gentle music while we ate breakfast in the dining room. The food was delicious. Our room was comfortable, with a great bed, soft sheets and towels, and even a robe. The house is tastefully decorated, and the hosts were welcoming and helpful throughout. I’d gladly recommend it and hope to return in summer. Marion and Joe

This is the best B&B I’ve stayed in, and I’d recommend it without hesitation. The place is a real treasure: peaceful and picturesque, right in the middle of a farm. The house and garden are amazing, and everything was spotless and comfortable, with lots of thoughtful extras. We got such a warm welcome from the glamorous hostess, her daughter, and her husband. Thanks for a stay I’ll remember.

We bring our three children, including one with special needs, and Bernie makes every one of them feel like a prince or princess. She really spoils her guests and treats everyone so well. The breakfast is amazing, five-star at least. This is our little piece of heaven and my favourite place to stay in Ireland.

The room was beautifully decorated to a very high standard, and the bed was so comfortable. We also loved the wonderful garden and breathtaking view. From Bernie’s welcome when we arrived to the fabulous breakfast, the whole stay was lovely.
