Kate and James looked after us superbly at this excellent B&B. We enjoyed two delicious continental breakfasts with plenty to choose from, and there’s an excellent coffee machine. There’s also a microwave for warming croissants and other food. We brought microwave meals for our two suppers. Seeing James' Classic Car was fun too.

The garden was a lovely spot to sit with a glass of wine at the end of the day, and the location made a great base for exploring the Sussex countryside, Bodiam Castle, Hastings and the coast. We stayed in a converted outbuilding, with a king-size bed, first-rate bathroom, fridge and microwave. The accommodation is modern, beautifully comfortable and well appointed, and our hosts were gracious and friendly. Breakfast included homemade granola, yogurt parfaits and pastries, with so much to choose from. We couldn’t find a fault and would definitely come back.

The homemade granola was delicious, and Kate went out of her way to get me some Waitrose Gluten Free bread, which was lovely too. The thoughtful extra touches made our stay feel special while we celebrated our Silver Wedding Anniversary. I only wish we could've stayed longer. Loved it here, and would thoroughly recommend the five-star accommodation.

The self-contained room was lovely, very clean and nicely decorated, with a kitchen area and separate bathroom. It’s over a garage, away from the house. Kate was wonderfully attentive, and the continental breakfasts were lovely too.

We had a relaxing, thoroughly enjoyable two-night break here. It’s a wonderful self-contained B&B and an ideal base for exploring Sussex. The bed is huge, and so is the continental breakfast.
