Flying Horse

We stayed her for one night in July 2015. There was one bathroom for six rooms, so if someone was showering, no one else could use the toilet. The windows were mouldy, and no towels were provided or any warning that we should bring our own. Annoying, but we could manage that. What we couldn’t manage was the noise. At about 11.30, the pub music was turned up. Even after we complained and it came down a little, every note was still audible in our room, loud enough to disrupt normal conversation. It was finally switched off at 12.30, but then we could hear staff talking downstairs until 1.00 am, though the pub was apparently closed. Management didn’t care, saying they’d provided a bed and showing no interest in the fact we couldn’t sleep in it until 1 am. Another guest said they saw people using drugs in the pub when they went down to complain about the noise.
