We stayed for one night to unwind after Christmas, having had an outstanding dinner here on our last visit. The food is on another level, and the waiter service matches it. It's excellent value, and we're already looking forward to coming back. Thorverton is a beautiful, quiet village with two pubs run by 4 in a bed winners. The Thorverton Arms has a great atmosphere and service to go with it. Thanks to everyone at the Thorverton Arms 👏

Dinner was fresh, nicely made and came in a proper portion. The menu was good and the pub food didn't disappoint. We also had a warm, comfortable room with thoughtful little touches, especially the great fudge. A really fantastic pub, with a lovely welcome. Everything felt the way a pub should.

We didn't stay, so I can't rate the rooms 🙂. The staff were really lovely and couldn't do enough for us. The food was absolutely amazing, especially the daime bar pie, which I loved ♥️. We came all the way from Taunton and it was well worth it. We'll definitely be back for another good feed!

We were served quickly, and both roasts were delicious: one chicken and one beef, with pork or turkey also available. There was plenty of veg, roasties and Yorkshire pudding, then we had salted caramel brownie with vanilla ice cream. Friendly service and good value too. We booked a table for 2.15 after reading good reviews, and the smiley, polite young woman at the bar got our drinks. Mandy said they were busy and seating might be around 2.30, which was fine, but we were actually shown to our table almost straight away. First visit to The Thorveton arms, and we'll definitely come back! 😃

We were pleased with every part of the meal, and the care they took over the details of our visit really stood out. The food was great, and we got a warm welcome. Just got back from a lovely meal and we'd definitely come again. Highly recommend a visit. Thank you x
