The cafe has recently reopened, and the centre also holds markets and runs a community wardrobe. I was welcomed warmly, and it clearly supports local people, including those affected by the floods. I only meant to pop into the Greenspace gallery for a quick look, but the creativity kept me there. I knew about a few things happening here, yet I hadn't realised how much was on offer. There are several projects, including the Men's Shed, where they do amazing work. It’s a lovely place to visit.

There’s a cosy spot inside and decking outside for sunnier days. The cafe is dog friendly, and the staff made both me and my puppy Jack feel welcome. It’s a little tucked away, so watch for the 'A' board as you drive. The menu has plenty to choose from. We’ll both be back, and I’d recommend it.

A real hidden treasure. I stopped by the newly opened gallery, then had lunch and a beer from the cafe/bar. The staff were really friendly. There’s also a small office, a restaurant, a few 'hotel' rooms and even a post office.
