The location is good and there is off street parking. Breakfast was fine, but there wasn't much choice. The rooms were spacious, if plain, and the bathroom was large, modern and impressive. The place feels generally run down and needs serious refurbishment. The carpets were worn and stained, and the shower in the otherwise lovely bathroom flooded the room. There was no one on site, and check-in was online. I couldn't really recommend it.

The room made a strong impression, and the guy handling breakfast service was great. There was no host to check us in, and that process could be improved. My stay was booked through a third party, which may have been the reason for the issue. When I first went down for breakfast, every table was taken. It wasn't a big deal, but there seems to be space for more tables. Still, it was a great experience overall.

We were six people staying the night before setting off on our multi day Great Glen Way hike, and the place was close to the trail head. Breakfast was wonderful. Since we hadn't given a few days' notice, they didn't prepare a lunch for our hike the next day. It was disappointing to arrive at the bnb and find no one there to greet us. As first time visitors to the country, we would have really appreciated being welcomed by a person.

The room was okay, but it felt very dusty and the bathroom smelled damp. I made a mistake when booking, I know, but a staff member called me out on it in front of everyone at breakfast instead of speaking to me privately.

A great spot for walking or cycling the Great Glen Way. It's just a minute or two on foot from Fort Augustus town centre, on a quiet street. The room was large and comfortable, with a really good shower. There's a bike storage shed, and the breakfast buffet was delicious and filling.
