The Brevins Guest House

We had to head off before breakfast service to reach our next stop, so the hosts put together a very generous takeaway breakfast for us. That was a lovely touch during our one-night stay. We also enjoyed meeting them, and found the spacious, well-equipped room and especially comfortable bed great. I'd definitely recommend this guest house.

The location is wonderfully quiet, and breakfast was delicious. I stayed at The Brevins for more than a week, and found the room clean and cozy. The hosts were welcoming and ready to help. For hiking in the Highlands, the drying room was useful, especially the shoe dryer, which worked perfectly on my boots through the frequent rain and snowfall in the mountains. Room 2 was a good size and probably the best room we had on our West Highland Way trip. It was nicely finished, with everything feeling good quality. Brenda and Vincent were friendly and helpful, just the sort of hosts you hope for. Breakfast was good too.

We climbed Ben Nevis during our two-night visit, and the guest house was also handy for exploring town, about a 15-minute walk from the centre. Our room was spacious and immaculate, with a bed that was so comfortable. It really felt like a home away from home. Breakfast was a treat, especially the full English and the perfect buttermilk pancakes. Brenda and Vincent were warm and hospitable, which made the stay feel special. We'd definitely come back, it was a fantastic place.
