The portions are huge, so a smaller serving option would be my one suggestion. I had the steak and it was perfect, with really nice chips, and my husband enjoyed his chilli. We both liked the food and service. Definitely recommend it.

The bartender was polite, so no complaint about the service from them, but the food was below standard. Then a group sat vaping in the corner without anyone saying anything. My son has asthma, so we got up and left. I’ll take my money and appetite somewhere else next time.

We went for a meal with friends and were well looked after. The staff were friendly, and the home-cooked food was tasty without costing much. Five stars 🌟

The food was proper pub grub and scrummy, and the staff were really friendly and helpful both when we rang ahead and when we arrived. We stayed in our motorhomes in the car park, so five stars for the room 😊. A really good experience.

We didn’t stay overnight, just stopped for a meal. It was lovely, fresh, hot and tasty, came out quickly, and the staff were very friendly.
