The staff were so friendly, and both the room and food were lovely. I accidentally left my watch behind, but they sent it straight back without hesitation. Amazing place to stay. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend it.

We stopped in just for a meal, so I can’t speak to the rooms. The food went down well with everyone, and my chef’s curry of the day was excellent for a pub classic. It’s a really friendly inn, and the location is handy for people hiking the West Highland Way.

The portions were huge. I couldn’t finish my spicy chicken enchiladas, though they were fab and packed with chicken. The other three people with me enjoyed their venison lasagnes and burger too. Staff were really friendly, and I’d happily recommend the place. I wish I’d taken photos.

Breakfast is a set menu with a choice of dishes, but it starts at 8, so you may want to skip it if you’re keen to get onto the WHW early. The room was small but cute, with a good shower. A perfect inn in Drymen after a shorter first day on the WHW.
