Maison Gorey Hotel

Breakfast is included, with a cooked buffet, which made this a great value stay for me as a solo traveller. The small hotel is about a 10 minute stroll from Gorey harbour. My room was spotless and the staff gave really good service. There’s free parking outside, but only about five spaces; there’s another car park not far away. I’d come back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

The breakfast had lots of choice and was amazing. The hotel also lets you use its amenities for food you bring in, any time of day or night. Staff were so friendly and helpful, and when our puppy hurt her leg and we had to leave early, they refunded the two unused nights without us asking. They even let us stay in the room until we left that evening at no extra charge. We spent a week here with our two dogs. The rooms were clean and well maintained, and the beach was just a two minute walk away, sandy and beautifully kept, by the little harbour next to the castle. Perfect location, lovely hotel and lovely people. We’re already looking to book again for our next visit.

Breakfast was really decent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. For the price, the rooms are a good size and relatively clean and tidy, though the bathroom fittings look great but are falling apart. There’s a pleasant TV lounge, and both the rooms and hotel have WiFi and TVs. Parking is limited, but a free car park is less than five minutes away on foot. There’s also a convenience store about 80 metres away.

The beach is beautiful and just across the main road, and the bus service into St Hellier is very efficient. We had a good sized room for three, with tea and coffee replenished each day. Breakfast was very good, and the hotel staff were lovely and friendly.
