We had spa treatments booked and were short on time, so we didn't get to try the jacuzzi or steam room, though both looked fantastic. The pool was relaxing and well kept, and we really enjoyed it during our early Valentine's celebration at Old Thorns Hotel Resort and Spa with my husband and daughter. Sophia was especially helpful and went out of her way to make the visit more enjoyable. The staff were attentive throughout. We had a lovely time and would definitely come back.

The breakfast was lovely, and the hotel was clean and tidy. We took a nice walk to a local pub before driving through to the car park. It was our first visit, to celebrate my 24th Birthday, and I couldn't fault anything. Definitely recommend it, and we'll be back soon.

Mike and Stuart gave us a warm welcome and friendly service at breakfast, which was delicious. I would have liked more choice, perhaps smoked salmon, different cheeses, and mixed meats like ham or salami. We had a really lovely stay at Old Thorns. The thoughtful special addition in our room made it especially comfortable, and we truly appreciated it. We thoroughly enjoyed the visit, highly recommend the hotel, and look forward to coming back soon.

Sophie looked after us so well in the spa, and Lilly did our treatments. I even fell asleep because it was so relaxing. We had a wonderful anniversary visit, then enjoyed a lovely cream tea lunch. Thank you all, we'll be back soon.

The spa facilities were good, though changing could be improved with some individual cubicles instead of just a little curtain. We enjoyed the spa, the friendly service from the team, and the nice bar area. The rooms were spacious, and breakfast was great too. I'd recommend it to anyone after a spa day or break.
