The Manor Resort

We couldn't find a fault with this gorgeous lodge and would happily come back. It was immaculately clean throughout, and the layout worked brilliantly. Having the toilets connected to the hot tub area made things practical and comfortable.

We’ve just spent four nights at Laceby Manor and were genuinely blown away. The lodge was amazing, finished to a very high standard, and having our own sauna and hot tub was great. We made full use of the spa and tried several treatments: spiced mud bath, spiced mud rasul, a facial and a couple of express treatments. Every one was amazing. Janessa did my facial, and her technique was unreal. The spa staff were incredible, especially Kyle, one of the spa hosts, who looked after us so well and went above and beyond. The food in the Oak Room was amazing, and the service from every member of staff there was faultless too. We go on spa breaks regularly, but Laceby Manor is now our go-to. Loved every minute and can’t wait to come back.

The only real problem was a constant, loud knocking or dripping noise in the cabin all night. It kept me awake for much of the night, and I have a video of it. The lodge itself was lovely, with a great hot tub, but it’s quite a walk from the spa. In the winter darkness that path felt daunting, so I think it needs more lighting. I stayed at Laceby for my birthday. The spa is well maintained, with great facilities, though it isn't huge and space in the heated pool can get limited. The saunas and steam room are top quality, and the plunge pools are a great addition. Spa staff were very helpful. A trunks or bikini drier in the changing rooms would be a good investment. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, with the lighting just right. The food is quite expensive, but I think the quality makes it worth the price.

Lunch was delicious, with lots of choice, and my facial with Eve was so good I floated out. They showed me to a private relaxation room afterwards. Spa host Marion took us around and arranged a wonderful bathing experience. The hosts explain everything clearly at the start of the day. We arrived at 9.15, had a welcome drink and were already relaxing. Everyone we met was helpful and professional. The spa is outstanding, with lots of places to sit and unwind. It gleams, is kept clean and well stocked, and the team clearly work hard to maintain it. It’s huge but not overbooked. A 5* experience, 100% recommend.
