We chose the Withies for a wake recently, and it worked perfectly for us. It’s easy to reach from Guildford Crematorium and there’s enough parking. The staff were kind and kept the food service well organised. We had a generous spread of really good sandwiches, hot nibbles as a buffet, then cakes. Our allocated area had its own bar access and was clearly separated from the rest of the dining and pub space. It’s full of character. Thank you.

A lovely local pub, with friendly service and a roaring log fire. Great for walkers around the Gidalming area. There’s a decent menu, and the food is cooked beautifully. I had the veal marsala, and its sauce was heavenly.

The staff were extremely friendly, the room was clean, and there was a good breakfast choice with lots of parking. I stayed one night in the Treetops room. It was quite cold because the heating hadn’t been on, and the door opens straight outside with no blind. There are steps in the room, so it isn’t suitable for disabled access. It’s a lovely B&B, but I wouldn’t give it five stars.

Stopped for a drink while out walking. It’s a lovely traditional pub with classic features and friendly staff. The menu looks good, so I’ll eat here next time.

The gardens were a lovely surprise, peaceful and beautifully kept, and inside had the charming feel you want from a proper British pub. Our group of eight started the evening in the bar trying a few of their gins. Dinner was excellent, especially the beautifully prepared beef Wellington that most of us ordered. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We had a lovely evening at The Withies Inn and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
