Mill Lodge Brecon Beacons

Our host was thoughtful and welcoming throughout the weekend, and quick to respond whenever we needed anything. The place was spotless, comfortable, and just as described. We felt at home, and would happily stay again. Highly recommend!

Staying at the Mill Lodge was a real pleasure. Kelvin and Meryl are such gracious, welcoming hosts and were happy to help with anything. Their advice on how to spend our days and what to visit was great, and Kelvin is a wonderful chef. Breakfast was delicious. Thank you both, and we hope to see you again on our next visit. The breakfast was cooked perfectly, and the place has that cosy, upgraded B&B feel. Mill Lodge sits beside a gorge, where the flowing water made everything feel peaceful. The hosts were welcoming, and the house felt homely. We only stayed one night, but I’d recommend it.

That breakfast was something else: smoked salmon, asparagus, caviar and a poached egg, with a special Full English too. The room and bed were comfortable, and the tea and coffee tray came with fresh milk, which Kelvin even brought to our door. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel at home, with tea ready and plenty of advice about local walks, places to eat and the area. Nothing seemed too much trouble. For what we paid, the accommodation could easily charge nearly double. We left the best for last, and it certainly made our holiday. I’d highly recommend staying here.
