The creaky floor made a bit of a sound when I walked on it. I ended up smiling about it, as if the hotel was saying it knew exactly where I was. It’s a small quirk you notice and then forget because the rest of the stay was just right. Premier Inn Ebbw Vale felt peaceful, with fresh air, lovely calming views and a setting surrounded by nature. A good escape from the usual rush, and even from thinking about emails. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always helpful and smiling, and easy to talk to. It felt like I’d been there before, even though it was my first visit. A really pleasant stay. I’d absolutely come back, and maybe try walking a little softer next time.

It’s an easy and affordable trip to Newport and Cardiff, with Ebbw Vale Parkway only a five-minute walk away. The breakfast across the car park was fantastic value and really good quality. The rooms and people were fabulous too. Couldn’t fault this place. Thank you for everything. Regards, Gareth

For a work trip, this was great value and easy to get to, with ample parking outside. The rooms and bathroom were clean and nicely sized, and the bed was very comfortable, so I slept well. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, and the staff there were friendly too.

The staff were lovely, but the hotel is in dire need of a refresh. The broken shower dripped all night. Heating and ventilation kept turning themselves on and off, with no input from me, leaving the room either boiling or airless. I ended up opening the window, and then road noise and light disturbed our sleep.

The rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The automatic doors at the main entrance made access very good for disabled guests. It would be handy to have a plug socket and USB-C on both sides of the bed. Definitely recommend it.
