We had a lovely Sunday Roast with the family. The pub has recently been renovated, and it was really pleasant to have our food and drinks by the log fire. The staff are friendly, and the food was fantastic. Looking forward to visiting again, especially in summer when we can sit in the beer garden. Cheers!

The service was spot on, attentive without interrupting our peaceful lunch. The four of us had a superb Sunday Lunch yesterday, and the food and cooking were faultless. The beef may be the best I’ve ever had when eating out. We’ll definitely return.

The roast beef was delicious, with high quality meat cooked just right, and the sticky toffee pudding was very good too. I’ve just had a wonderful lunch at the Wheatsheaf. Thanks for the complimentary glass of Prosecco, a lovely Mother’s Day treat!

We had our annual Christmas meal here with well over 20 people, adults and children. The staff had arranged a lovely long table, kept us well looked after, and didn’t rush us, which we’ve often felt at other places. The food arrived hot and with very little wait considering the size of our group. I had succulent, tasty turkey followed by blood orange cheesecake. Even my very picky five year old ate most of his plate. Thanks to everyone at The Wheatsheaf for such a relaxed, enjoyable family event.

Ten of us in our Sunday lunch group all enjoyed a delicious, nicely cooked roast this week. The surroundings were pleasant, and the staff were lovely. Well done, team. We’ll come back later in the year.
