Moore House

We booked two nights with friends to celebrate a 50th birthday, and the location was just right. Our room, RX1, was clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed and a very nice shower room. The whole guesthouse is tastefully decorated to a high standard, especially the dining and lounge area. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was cooked just right. I had no negative experiences and would definitely book again.

Charlotte was a warm, attentive host and went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed. We also stopped by Porters next door, which is part of the same complex. It’s a lively, welcoming wine bar and restaurant, with excellent service and a great choice of food and drinks. Breakfast was included and exceeded expectations, with plenty of fresh options cooked to order. We stayed in RX6 for a long weekend. The room was beautifully decorated, spotless, and comfortable, and the B&B is tastefully designed and only a short walk from the old town. We’ll definitely be back.

We were very well looked after by the whole team, especially Charlotte, who went out of her way to make our Hastings stay lovely. Our room at Moore House was spacious and beautifully presented, with a chilled bottle of fizz waiting for us, such a thoughtful touch. Breakfast had loads of delicious options, all cooked and served perfectly. The weather was sunny, so we could eat outside among the flowers, which was stunning. We can’t wait to come back.

We’d come from Henley-on-Thames for one night, but car trouble meant we had to stay another. We didn’t mind at all and were well looked after. Charlotte, Kendall, and Danielle gave us such good service, and Kendall’s cooking was incredible, every dish delicious and beautifully presented. The rooms are stylish, creative, and full of charm. Hastings is a hidden treasure, and Moore House is a lovely base for experiencing it. Thank you for an unforgettable stay.
