That steak and kidney pie with mash and gravy was fantastic. We’ve had several meals at this cozy, traditional pub and the service has always been polite and attentive. Another lovely evening, thanks to everyone.

We pulled in on our motorbikes for lunch and had a lovely stop. The food was tasty and great value, and that pie was enormous. Thanks for the friendly service.

The regular customers were the one good part of the place, and the locals were extremely helpful. The bar manager, though, was awkward and unhelpful, creating an unprofessional atmosphere with customers.

We ate here three times during a week away, and every homemade meal was amazing. The food and beer were fantastic, and the landlady couldn’t do enough for us. Well worth stopping in on your travels.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and tidy with a really comfortable bed. We had great food too, excellent quality and well prepared, and everything was good value. A lovely little place, and we’d definitely stay again.
