We booked an overnight stay while dropping our son off at university. The family room was enormous, and it felt like good value. Mohammad was lovely and kept in touch brilliantly. The house is beautiful and we were comfortable, though it’s a little run down and could use new curtains and its pictures straightened. We had to drive into town to find somewhere to eat. We’d happily come back.

Conwy made for a lovely getaway here. The views are breathtaking, and the welcome felt warm from the minute we arrived. Berthlywood Country House has a really inviting feel, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Conwy.

There were insects and mold all over the room, and the windows were rusty. Spider webs covered the lamps. There was no room service at all.
