Peak Yurts

The valley views were stunning, and the site was quiet with spotless, well-kept facilities. I booked directly at the last minute, and the booking and check-in were both straightforward, with really clear information. The luxury yurt was the best I’ve stayed in, with plenty of space for four and a very comfortable double bed. The kitchen and food prep area had everything I needed. I didn’t try the fire pit or BBQ this time, but I will next visit. Great value for what you get, and I can’t wait to come back.

The yurts handled both storm Dudley and storm Eunice without much trouble, which made for a fun experience 😉. We found the site a great base for exploring the Peak District, and the hosts were friendly. They’d left drinks for us on arrival, a lovely touch. The toilets and showers were clean, warm, and welcoming, and the gas fire helped while we got the log fire going. The local pubs are great too.

The Yurts are lovely, and the location is beautiful, with stunning views. Toilets, showers, and washing-up areas were all tidy and very clean. Phil was always easy to reach by email or SMS and couldn’t do enough for us. On arrival, he’d left welcome drinks, firewood, kindling, and fire-lighters. My wife, our two daughters, our small dog, and I had a wonderful three-night stay. I only wish we could’ve stayed longer. We’d definitely come again.

We loved our little holiday, and the campsite was peaceful with a lovely local pub nearby. The location was fabulous. When we arrived, though, the hut was still dirty from the previous visitors, and we struggled to reach the owners for a while. It was eventually sorted out. The hut itself was fabulous, but a small dustpan and brush would’ve helped with our dog.
