Grayshott Health Spa

The gentle, old world feel really adds to a stay here. Everything was well cared for, and the rooms had everything we needed. There’s a wide range of classes and spa treatments, too. The food was impressively healthy but still looked and tasted as good as meals at many restaurants. A great place to unwind and get a healthy routine started.

The treatment rooms feel tucked away, even though they're in the same building, so they have a lovely calm atmosphere. Lunch is a fresh buffet, with more food brought out as the meal goes on. There’s a good sized pool, with clean towels dotted around, plus a sauna and steam room. Tea, coffee and water are all complimentary. One of the best places around here by far.

George, the Reception Manager, took such good care of us throughout our stay, and everyone we met was really friendly. The treatment staff were professional and knowledgeable. The building has lovely historic features, but the interior has been updated with a modern feel. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing break away from home.

Some parts of the spa were relaxing, but other areas looked dated and in need of refurbishment. Lunch was disappointing compared with our visit a couple of years ago, so Mum and I decided against staying for dinner. The tea in the public areas was cold, too. Not a great spa day.
