There’s outdoor seating for better weather, and some lovely quality gifts in the shop too. When we visited on a very wet, windy Saturday in February, it was busy, but there were plenty of tables and service was quick. The young man serving was charming and really helpful. The cafe is livelier and bigger than it first looks, with nice decor, and it was warm and cosy inside. Our coffees were hot and tasty, the cakes were delicious with lots of choice, and the two coffees and two cakes came to just over £15. We’d definitely come again and recommend it to friends.

The lemon meringue pie was so good! There was lots of room to lean our bikes against the wall, plus outdoor seating. It was fairly busy on a Saturday afternoon, but the service was still great. All the cakes looked amazing. A really nice cafe.

The bathroom in the annexe felt a bit exposed without blinds. Even though the wall outside blocked the view, it still felt like people could look in, so I’d recommend adding some. The experience was lovely otherwise, with a quiet location close to walks and bus routes.

We came back on our last morning before heading home, travel mugs in hand, to get another pumpkin latte for the journey. It was the perfect send-off after a lovely weekend in Eyam. My friend and I were staying in a nearby Airbnb, just a two-minute stroll away, and stopped here for lunch and a latte after our two-hour drive. The cheese and onion toasties were freshly made, comforting and full of flavour. But the pumpkin 🎃 latte was the highlight, creamy, perfectly spiced and just right for autumn. The service was friendly, welcoming and efficient, and the whole place felt warm and cosy. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Eyam for great food, warm smiles and a fantastic pumpkin latte 🎃☕✨

Parking is limited to on-street spaces, and it’s restricted because the cafe is in a residential area. The cafe itself is a cosy little treasure with good service and decent portions. I loved the cream scone, and the drinks were generous.
