We got a stay and dine voucher for Christmas and had such a good time. The staff were lovely and helpful from the booking right through our visit, and the area around the place is great for a walk. Our room was spotless and cosy, with a comfy bed and coffee, tea and hot chocolate facilities. The food was really tasty with generous portions, and the quiz and bingo were fun and welcoming. We'd definitely stay again and recommend it.

We all loved our first family visit. The three-course meal was delicious from beginning to end, and Dani looked after us so warmly and helpfully. The pub itself is gorgeous inside and out, with a friendly welcome, good pint and lovely food. We can't wait to come back, highly recommend.

It was our first time for three of us, and we were really impressed. Sam, Dani and George made the four of us feel welcome, and the service was fantastic. The Sunday roast was excellent, desserts included, in a cosy, warm atmosphere. Highly recommended.

We had a brilliant New Year here, and the food was amazing as usual. Our room was beautiful, and the staff were fantastic. Thanks to Mark for the laughs and Robert for such good breakfast service. We'd absolutely recommend staying or visiting, and we'll be back in spring or summer with our classic mini. xx

After visiting Little John's Grave nearby, we stopped in for lunch and got a really warm welcome. The food was lovely, and Sylvia was attentive. It's a cosy, dog-friendly pub just a few minutes from Hathersage's main street. We were here for the weekend and would definitely return, maybe for a stay next time.
