Villa Verde Gatwick

There are some very good restaurants within walking distance, and we’d happily stay here again. Our group of six spent one night here on June 11, 2018, to be near the airport. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were accommodating. They arranged a large cab that arrived on time for our early flight. It’s a well-run place, and we loved it.

We barely heard any noise from the hallway or the nearby airport, so we slept well. The room was clean and comfortable, and the people at Villa Verde were very welcoming and keen to help with anything we needed. They even gave us plates and silverware for our takeaway. The taxi they booked arrived on time and didn’t cost much. A very pleasant stay, and we’d gladly return.

The hotel was within walking distance of the local station, where I arrived and asked for directions. Staff on duty helped with what I needed during my stay and booked a cab for the next day to Gatwick. I was impressed by The Villa Verde Hotel’s location, cleanliness, and service from the staff. I’d definitely recommend the place to anyone. Great location and very good standards.

Our family room was spacious and modern, with a double bed and a twin bed on each side, so we each had our own bed. There was a little flickering from the light, but I suppose that can happen in an older building. Breakfast costs a small extra amount, which is nothing given the room price. The receptionist was sweet and called us a cab for the morning airport trip. The hotel is lovely and very close to the airport, with town just a three-minute walk away. We found amazing Italian food there, and you should try Zeno, the hotel gives you a 10% off coupon. There are also a few pubs and other restaurants in the town center. I’d recommend this place to my friends and family.
