The welcome was warm, and the staff made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. We came in for the Christmas menu on Thursday 18th December. The starters were great, and the turkey came in lovely thick slices, really tender and piping hot. Everything tasted delicious, and the tutti frutti cheesecake was a nice finish. Houston Inn had clearly made a lovely effort. We’ll be back.

Sophie put on such a great show for our group, and the staff were incredible throughout. We had a hen party of 28 with food, drinks, games and boozy bingo, and it was absolutely amazing. The food was great too. I couldn’t recommend Houston Inn more for an event like this. Thanks again for a really memorable experience!

We were eleven for dinner, and had a really enjoyable time. The food and drinks were super, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Staff were attentive without being overbearing. We didn’t stay overnight, so I can’t comment on the rooms.

The sun was shining, the buffet was delicious, and the service was lovely. We hired the restaurant at Houston Inn for a retirement party last Friday, and the evening went really smoothly. When we arrived, Connor was on duty and was so warm and helpful. He helped us with the decorations, bunting and lettering, and was friendly and welcoming throughout. The chef came out to greet us and talk about the buffet we’d ordered, and was very accommodating, doing everything possible to make the night go well. Well done, Houston Inn. Not many of our guests were local, but after such a great night they all said they’d come back!
