We stayed for two nights and really enjoyed it. It’s a lovely little place, with the bread, milk, orange juice, butter and jam already there being a thoughtful touch. It was a bit awkward to find, but once we did, we had everything we needed. Thank you.

The welcome hamper in the fridge was a lovely touch, and we had the relaxing break we needed. The cottage is clean, quiet and well placed for exploring Yorkshire, with the canal nearby. A couple of things would make it more practical: some drawers or a small wardrobe for clothes, and darker curtains, as the summer sun woke us at 4:30 am. I’d give it 3 or 4 out of 5.

The Button Box was lovely and clean, and the bed and bedding were great. It’s a shame there’s only one bedroom. A put-me-up bed for a toddler could be helpful xx

A lovely bungalow to stay in, and the owners were very nice!
