Pointers Guest House

Eileen and David were smashing hosts, and we had some really interesting conversations with them. Peter and I spent four days at this lovely Guest House and would definitely visit again. Our room was spacious, with a separate nook for dressing or doing makeup, and pretty views over the pond. Wisteria draped over the pergola, and it was lovely to walk around the grounds. Breakfast was gorgeous every morning, as was the coffee, especially while looking out over the gardens. We'd recommend the Guest House.

We had a lovely one-night stay at Pointers, booked through Airbnb. David and Eileen were very accommodating, and the family room was comfortable. The bathroom was private and next door, with a bath, shower, plenty of towels, and a few soaps, gels and lotions. There was also a TV and tea and coffee making gear, and the kids enjoyed the complimentary biscuits. I had the best night's sleep. Breakfast was amazing. We chose what we wanted and a time the night before, then ate in the conservatory overlooking the gardens. There was a great choice and the food was delicious. We didn't get to explore the gardens, but hope to when we come back.

Eileen made us feel at home and was a wonderful host. The room was spacious and well equipped, with a gorgeous en-suite and excellent, clean facilities. Breakfast was delicious too. It's a beautiful place in stunning surroundings, and we'll definitely be back. Highly recommend a visit.

The house and grounds are beautiful, and the owner was so thoughtful, friendly and welcoming. We had a fabulous overnight stay, with a spacious, clean room, a superb bathroom and a bed that was immensely comfortable. Breakfast had amazing choices. I went for the full English, which was sublime.
