A lovely quiet place away from the noise, with beautiful views across the rolling green hills. It was just what we needed to recharge. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, and the enclosed garden was secure for our little dog. After a long day walking, the hot tub was very welcome. The owners were friendly and helpful. Great little place, would highly recommend. Thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay at this quirky campsite. Waking up to sheep right in front of us was lovely, and we could hear the wolves and lions from the nearby wildlife park while we were there. The views were beautiful, the facilities were clean and nice, and the owners made us feel welcome. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

The views were incredible, and this was a lovely, affordable stay, even with the weekend's wind and rain. We'd 100% come back. The private campsite is in Combe Martin in Exmoor National Park, about 30 minutes from Lynton and 20 minutes from Ilfracombe. It is on a hill, but the owners have made six flat tent pitches, each around 6m by 4m. There's parking on site, though you need to walk down from the car park to your pitch, as you'd expect at a hillside campsite.

We came across Tony and Caren's property while walking and were able to stay the night. They were so friendly that we ended up chatting with them for over four hours the next morning. The area was very well cared for, with a lovely view over Combe Martin and sheep nearby as we slept. We felt really welcome and will definitely come back. :)
