Heather made our three nights at Crown House feel like staying with an old friend. She was warm, welcoming and full of useful help, drawing on her travel industry experience to understand what visitors need. From our first email, I could tell this wouldn’t be an ordinary B&B, and she lived up to that. She recommended restaurants and the best walking routes to them. The house is lovely, clean and well equipped, in a quiet neighborhood that’s convenient for downtown Inverness and the main roads to places like Colloden Battlefield and museum. Our room was comfortable, with a small fridge and a little magnifying mirror that helped me do my makeup without my glasses. The ensuite was gorgeous and spacious, with a large light-up mirror and luxurious towels. Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious, enough that we could skip a big lunch while sightseeing. I hope to return to Scotland and Invernness, and will definitely stay with Heather again.
