The room was clean, including the bathroom, and there was a cookie and tea or hot chocolate waiting when I arrived. My single room was comfortable enough, and the shower got nice and hot, though it could use an update. The decor isn't very modern, but that gives the place a cozier feel. It's a great deal for the price. The house is close to Inverness city centre, which I honestly loved. There's no check-in desk, they email you instructions for getting into your room. When I found the DVD player was broken, the host replaced it with a new TV and DVD player within an hour. If anything goes wrong, the host is quick to help.

This is a subdivided private home, which I wish I'd realized from the words “guest house.” There's no parking, restaurant, or front desk to call with questions. The price seems reasonable, and it works if all you need is somewhere to sleep and you don't have much luggage, since most rooms are up a small staircase. Restaurants are a reasonable walk away across the river, but book ahead for the better ones.

No breakfast is included, though the town has plenty of good options. It's a cosy guesthouse within walking distance of Inverness town centre, with a tidy room and very friendly hosts.

The rooms were lovely and comfortable, and the host made us feel very welcome. It's well placed for walking into the town centre. Just odd for a bed and breakfast that they don't serve breakfast.
