We made good use of the books there, especially the ones about whisky and Outlander, and the kids liked the little back yard. We were lucky to get a few sunny days. The house itself is spacious and very nice, with free parking, under a 10-minute walk from the centre and less than 2 KM from Inverness's parks. It was the perfect choice for our stay, and we'd definitely recommend it.

Our first trip with a six-month-old could have been stressful, but we felt at home in the little house by the Ness, which made things easy. It's a lovely little place in a great spot, and we were so pleased with the hospitality. Many thanks to Jamie and Muriel. The castle is just at the end of the road, and downtown is a simple walk across the bridge. It's a neat little house, delightful and so well equipped, with plenty of goodies and snacks stocked up. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone coming to Inverness.

We had the best few days by the river in Inverness, staying in this beautifully presented home from home. The kitchen is fully equipped with high-end appliances, and there were thoughtful details and gifts waiting on arrival. Restaurants and amenities are a short walk away. It was perfect for a family stay. Highly recommend.

A lovely two-bedroom luxury let with river views, an enclosed safe back garden and raised terrace. It's quiet and secluded, yet close enough to be right in the hub, with all amenities nearby. You can walk to Eden Court theatre, wander through the town centre, or head over the Ness islands. On-street permit parking and free Wi-Fi are provided. You won't be disappointed!
